TaxAct.com also offers free filing of federal returns w/o an income limitation. I used it about 3 weeks ago b/c I didn't qualify for the IRS free file program and I received my refund 9 days later using direct deposit.

Also CA offers free filing of state returns as well. I'm not sure of all the requirements but I've used it for the last 3 years to file my returns. And I received my refund in 7 days using direct deposit.
