Before my mother passed away, she told her family that she wanted to be cremated. I had a hard time paying alot of money for a casket to just have it burned. We inquired about renting a casket. Our funeral director said he never heard of it but he would make some calls. He found a company that does this and the cost was half of what an inexpensive casket would cost. It was beautiful. I thought it looked so much prettier than some of the caskets we looked at.
