Good Article and would like to add about Watching Out for Paying Your Utility bills On Line..( Cost them about .50 cents to process) But, They love to Charge you an Extra $5 each time to pay On Line vs they having to process a Check? ( That cost them $3-$8 to process ) What a Con Game and Rip Off this is!
Add to the fact? They ( Utility Co.'s) also Ask you to 'Donate' Extra $ to 'Help those in need to ay their Utility bills' , but if you look closely at your Itemized Utility bill, YOU'RE ALREADY Donating $ to this and you Don't have a choice! And The Utility Co.'s are Constantly Trying to Justify Raising rates by including the need to supplement 'Those In Need' that cannot afford to pay... What's next? Cable Co.'s wanting to do the same thing?
