ETFs Fall as Market Slide Continues

Stocks fell for a second straight session Tuesday, despite better data on inflation, housing starts and building permits. Financial stocks were in the thick of trading again, outpacing the broader index declines. Oil sold off, settling at $70.50 a barrel. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 107 points to close at 8504. For a complete rundown of Tuesday s trading session see our market story.

Winners

Losers

Weak sales news from Best Buy (BBY) helped drag down the SPDR S&P Retail fund (XRT) 3.4%. Receding crude prices knocked back the Oil Service HOLDRS fund (OIH) 3.0%.
