As Rally Stalls, a Contrarian Sees the Light

After the last year's big bounce, market bulls are a rare commodity, but Liz Ann Sonders, chief investment strategist at Charles Schwab (SCHW), has an upbeat outlook for the rest of 2010.

In an interview with SmartMoney Magazine s Editor in Chief Jonathan Dahl at the Charles Schwab Investment Outlook conference in Baltimore, Sonders describes herself as a natural-born contrarian and says she s always more comfortable in my view if few people share it. Here, she describes what trading and economic indicators she uses to handicap the market -- and which ones aren t being given enough credit. She also talks about the risks investors face as they weigh their asset allocations for the coming year.
