NRG Energy's CEO: The Power Broker

WHEN WE MEET David Crane at NRG Energy's Princeton, N.J., headquarters, it turns out the CEO has some questions of his own. Do we know a lot of CEOs? And do we think they're "normal" human beings? Because if they are, then Crane — who runs NRG (NRG) from a cubicle 20 paces from the firm's trading desk, drives a bright blue Mini and asks as many questions as he answers — is sure he's not.
