* Our Nov. 4 story, "How Much Are Credit-Card Perks Really Worth?" stated that American Express card users can get a refund from the issuer of up to $300 on purchases made over the last 90 days if the merchant refuses to take the items back. However, American Express has an additional program that guarantees up to $1,000 per item for certain types of purchases, including clothing and electronic equipment.

* In our October 26 story "ING's Fate: From Bank Deposits to N.Y. Marathon," we incorrectly identified Ron Shevlin's company. He is a senior analyst at Aite Group.
