Wal-Mart just did this to me today. At the exit, the lady checked my receipt; not normally a big deal until she starting "cross-checking" items in my cart. I replied that she was not allowed to do this and she wanted to know "whose law is that"?
I felt embarrassed and harrassed when she continued to do this, meanwhile two people walked past me and went right out the door.

The manager of the Great Falls, Montana Sams' Club revoked my membership after I refused to show my receipt while peacefully leaving the store with my purchases. Once paid for, the merchandise becames your personal legal property. Someone needs to tell Sam's Club, this is the U.S.A., not Nazi Germany.

My recent experience with Sam's Club Discover was a reward of a subtracted 10 days of my billing cycle simply because I had started paying off all my balances. I then received a $29.00 late fee because of my due date being backed up without even a notice. When I contacted the company they admitted they do this to all their customers that pay off their balances each month. So much for the rewards of getting out of debt. your reward is punishment by credit card companies.
